I have a dipstick that I replaced but it is not long enough... this truck as you may know takes much oil than a normal vehicle... around 11 quarts instead of the normal 3 or 4 or whatever... anyway when I realized that the dipstick wasn't going to help me because it was the wrong size i worried that I may have put the wrong amount of oil in so I drained ALL of the oil and did it again and got as close to the 10.5 as I could... but I am still not satisfied because I am worried about hurting the truck without the exact amount of oil in it

I feel a bit lift headed, is it because I'm not eating enough?

I've been working out more lately and eating less to lose a little weight. I'm 5'8 around 135 lbs and I'm thin but I just want to lose the fat of my stomach so I'll look great in a bikini. When I stand up from sitting down I get light headed and it gets a little fuzzy but then it returns to normal. Today I ran and burned 400 calories and ate 3/4 a cup of oatmeal, a banana, walnuts, 1/2 cup of milk. Then a few hours later I had wheat thins and peanut butter and an apple. For dinner I had grilled chicken and steamed asparagus zucchini and broccoli. Then I slipped and had a brownie with a little ice cream (couldn't resist). Does it sound like I'm eating enough? I don't want to put my health in danger but I want to lose a few pounds!

Please help me! Rat tail skin fell off?

I was holding one of my female rats by her tail to give her a bath. She spun around, then about an inch of skin on her tail fell off and she dropped into the bath. Her tail looks like a white string, and it was bleeding every where. I put her in a separate cage (I have two five foot cages, six boys and eleven girls.Pet shop owner accidentally said two girls two boys, it was actually three boys and one girl...) And she kept crying her little rat cry, and trying to eat her tail off. It looked horribly painful, and every time she moved she screamed. I know lizard's tails fall off if they feel threatened, but is this normal with a rat? She has completely stopped eating and drinks a lot. I put band-aids and neosporene on the tip of her tail and i am observing her every day. (it has been 2 days). When i put her back in the cage she wouldn't even eat with her sisters. :( I am very worried about my rat. Right now she is sitting on my shoulder asleep, but everytime you go near her, she cries and licks you, like crazy. PLEASE HELP ME. I would bring her to a vet, but they do not deal with small rodents. :'( Should i cut off her tail completely? (Evil dad suggests this.) Should i keep her under more watch, or put her back in the cage with the other females? (they try to bite her tail too.)

Was it an intestinal worm?

Last time i went to the toilet i noticed a reasonably long, stringy thing! It kinda looked like a 5cm long piece of thread (but its not thread worm as they only reach about 13mm i believe). It was very thin in proportion to its length, and seemed to have consistent width all the way along. Could i have a post-wisdom teeth removal infection?

i got four out two weeks ago so the pain's all gone now and such and i've gone back to eating normally. however, today i was checking them with a flashlight and noticed there was bits of food attached to the stiches strings (gross, huh?) so i got some tweezers and removed it but there's still the tiniest bit left in them. i looked this up and apparently that's quite normal and should be okay but i also noticed my left gum is pretty swollen, which is the one that had more food in it. could i have an infection or is just irritated from the food and the cleaning?

OK so here is the situation in short. I started dating this man right after my last realtionship ended. When we met I did not know he was married. I found out he was married, and thought this would be the perfect chance to have a no strings attached relationship. NO He fell in love with me and his wife found out about me. So my husband and i don't ever get to g on dates, we either never have the time or i just don't feel comfortable leaving the kids with a random sitter, and well my family doesn't help and his is usually busy as well, any way i don't think we have gone on a date since the birth of our middle child who is almost 18 months.we finally got to spend alone time a couple weeks but that was at his work, so i could help them out! we had a rough weekend and he has to work late tonight, so i decided i was going to cook him a romantic dinner, im making chicken stuffed with ham asparagus and cheese, rice, and brown sugar glazed carrots. but i feel guilty because the kids had spaghetti ( well my son had 2 spaghetti sandwiches...don't ask) though this is there favourite food, and when i say favourite, im sure if they could eat it every day all day they would. so i know they don't mind. but this is the first time I have not eaten with them! my husband wont be home until the kids are in bed, and we wont really be alone because of the baby, but this is the closet thing to our time as possible! do you ever do something like this? does your partner enjoy it?

Clip-in hair extension help?

You can get them at stores like Ulta and Sally's beauty supply. I had a few from Ulta that I really liked. You get them very long and then clip them in place and then you can trim them so they are the same length as the rest of your hair. I got some dark brown ones and gave myself temporary low lights for a weekend. It was fun.

ok. First, something I have noticed is that I ha e been acting younger that my age lately. I mean, sometimes I would loose my self and do something completely stupid. I have a 7 month old son, & while I was pregnant I gained a whopping 60 pounds . I've lost 45 of it so far, but I cant seem to lose any more . For breakfast I eat a bowl of fruit (strawberries, raspberries, grapes & cantalope) , I don't usually eat around lunch time, but if I do find myself hungry I eat fish & vegetables (broccoli or asparagus) but no butter or salt, then for dinner I eat grilled chicken breast with BBQ'd green, orange, yellow & red peppers . I go walking for 1 or 2 hours almost everday (depending on how my little guy is) & I wear my shape up shoes. I cant seem to lose any weight though ! Am I doing something wrong ? What would be better for me to learn? Guitar or bass?

I've been a viola player for going on 4 years now, and i have taken an interest in the guitar and bass. Now my dad thinks that it would be easier for me to learn guitar first and then bass, but i think since a viola is similar to a bass and since i know 3 of the 4 strings already, i could learn bass fairly quickly. What will happen if i increase the length of the string on a model plane?

I have a model airplane attached to a horizontal string, successfully maintaining flight in a 30' diameter circle. With all things remaining the same, i increase the length of the string to fly at a 60' diameter. Will the plane continue to fly? How about if I increase the string to a 120' diameter or even further? Is there some diameter where the plane will not be able to maintain flight. Does the diameter have anything to do with the planes ability to fly? For argument sake, the string weight has no influence and the prop speed remains the same at all distances.

It is really yummy and its a cheese that stays pretty solid even when frying.

Help Stringing Guitar?

You have too many strings! I think you must have bought a 12 string set. The package has a reference chart for which string is which. The low E is a 56, the A string is a 47, the D string is probably the 35, the G string is the wound 27, the B string is the plain 17 and the high E string is the plain 13. This is an awfully heavy set of strings. If you are not used to it than you might wish to go with a medium or medium light set.

What should I eat while I'm getting over a stomach issue?

Last night, I drank more than I should've, but I felt fine! This morning I must've puked at least 10 times. All liquid, since I hadn't eaten much. Right now I've got a George Washburn festival series acoustic guitar, that's about all I know. I need sum advice on a friend problem... Help?

Ok so, here's the situation... I have a friend tht is a girl. Known her for 3 years, I believe tht we are very close, we talk almost every day (text and Facebook) and for the last 7-8 months or so, I've been telling her tht I missed her and tht we needed to spend together now, I have gone to visit her at work a couple times, but tht dosent last no more then 10 minets at the most! Basically she keeps telling me not to worry about and that we will hang out. Every time I bring this up, she says the same dam thing, "we will we will" now remember, this has been going on for quite awhile, 8 months tops. And for tht whole 8 months, NOTHING has happened, but yet one of her cousins can come along and set up a date and bam, it's official. I don't understand. Why is she not doing anything?? She's not tht busy, she does have a part time job, no boyfriend... I don't get it... And this is a friend who refers to me as her "2nd brother". Tht right there screams "friend zone" I know. Basically, I'm just so wore out... Tired of not getting any results, so I ask you.. What should I do? Do I keep trying and hope tht eventually she'll get around to it? Where can I find or tap into ignition on power (accessory power) in a 2007 GMC Sierra?

Installing a radio but the factory wiring does not provide an accessory power wire to connect to. The fuse block has nothing to offer except for an empty cruise control spot but it is way to deep to make a connection. Any ideas?

My grandparents from my dad's side of the family came from Germany. They moved away from Germany to the US in 1943, because of World War II. My dad was born here. My great-grandparents and the generations before from my mom's side were from Poland. My grandparents and my mother and I were all born here in the US. I sometimes follow the advice my grandparents from my dad's side gave of 'helping one another' even a stranger because in that time before the moved from Germany well, the war was on and they went through a lot. Wonderful people helped them live through and move away safely and they were complete strangers, that's what they told me. So I try to live by that hope. I didn't really knew my mother's parents well enough to say I act like them sometimes as they lived in another state and rarely visit them or visit us.

So i decided to buckle down and lose the extra weight over the summer time. What should i eat for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, and dinner? Something that can burn belly fat. Training for football and wrestling!Senior Year!?

Hi I just turned 17 and am going into my senior year of high school. I want to get into the best shape possible for football/wrestling this summer and I want to know if what I plan on doing is not enough or too much. Let me give you the stats, I am 5'11 288lbs and I have been training hard on my off season in the weight room. I currently bench 315, squat 365 15 times(I go parallel too, none of the go down 5 inches crap) and dead lift 465(I know I lack on the dead lift) and I run a mile in 9:07 seconds. Im just saying these stats so you can get a feel for the way I am built and what I can take. So my workout plan is going to be; Run 1 mile monday-saturday, wrestling practice for 1.5 hours every monday and wednesday, Every monday wednesday and friday are mandatory 1 hour lift/condition sessions for football. Tuesday-Train heavy clean and jerks, Thursday-Train light dead lift(like 5by5s at 225) and Saturday-Heavy Squat like 5by5 at 385, also I am going to get on creatine and a lower carb very high protein diet with lots of vegetables(Love asparagus) Please tell me what you think! How can I "mitigate" the effects of a Mars/Moon transit to 3rd (and soon 4th!) house?

The moon will be out of there in a couple of days. Not so with Mars. My advice is that you try to avoid any battles with 3rd house issues, neighbors, siblings, and your local neighborhood. Whenever Mars transits a house, there is a greatly increased need for a battle as that is what Mars desires. Mars has to have a battle. However one must really choose proper battles. Make sure the battle is worth the effort . There's no shame in losing a few battles because one wants to win the war! So, stay away from "drama" battles while Mars transits the 3rd house. And it is so easy to get caught up in battles with brothers and sisters. Neighbors too. Keep topics simple and don't go to subjects that are filled with resentment or possible arguments. When Mars transits your 4th house the same principle applies but now you will be deaiing with home and a parent usually your primary caregiver, and activity that happens "behind closed doors." Again keep it light and if you have to battle make darn sure that it is a battle worth fighting.This should help you through these transits. Why will my homelite trimmer not start?

I have a Homelite St-385 string trimmer, with a Walbro carburetor on it, 2 stroke engine, and no matter what I do, it will not even attempt to fire. I pull and pull and pull, and it wont fire. It had a good bright blue spark, just replaced spark plug. I replaced the diaphragm and gaskets on the carb, and cleaned it up. When I take out the plug after trying it several times, it's saturated with gas, and I don't know why. It's like it's trying to run extremely lean. The compression is a little low on it, 100psi, but it should still attempt to fire with that much compression. Any suggestions? Thank you!

My fasting blood sugar is always 117-126 but I can eat carbs and have a normal one. Well, Most kids like to watch cartoons as kind of an escape from reality (not really) but they don't want to hear the same things repeated in a show that their parents already tell them. You may even gain if your body believes it is not taking in enough calories to sustain normal daily activities. So all in all, more calories than you are eating (eat 1500-1600) and less exercise (Riding the bike and some muscle building exercises are enough for one day).

Fallout New Vegas Dead Money DLC problems?

I used to have the DLC on my PS3, and my brother thought it would be cool if he deleted it from my ps3 because it was too inappropriate, note he is a mormon zealot. Anyway, i finally got it back, and well, I'm having some troubles getting it started. What happens is, I know that you get the Sierra Madre Casino radio broadcast as soon as you start the game up again. Now my problem is, I am not getting this simple little broadcast to start the DLC. I'll try and get straight to the point, last night I told my girlfriend I have a fear of flying. I'm supposed to fly to see her soon. That's only about 700kcals. You will lose weight if you carry on eating like this but then you will gain it all back again once you start eating normally. You need to add more protein at lunchtime and not just eat fruit which is just sugar. Eating protein is great for losing weight and speeding up your metabolism so in the long run you'll lose more weight and keep it off. Have a healthier lunch with some protein and add some more fish at dinner. You need some fat in your diet too so maybe add some butter to your toast. Your breakfast is very filling and healthy. I was anorexic for years and I've learned now that starving yourself will wreck your metabolism. If I want to lose weight now (when I genuinely need to) I eat little and often, no sugar and protein at every meal. Plus exercise. A trainer taught me this and it works better than starving myself did, quicker results too. You really need to keep your metabolism working if you want to be slim. You wouldn't put no petrol in a car if you wanted it to go fast. You wouldn't put the wrong kind of petrol in either as it could damage it. Make sure you put the right fuel in your body and you will be in great shape. I also think you should check with your doctor to see if you even need to lose weight.

2005 GMC Sierra dash AC/Heat controls inop (No Vent)?

2005 Sierra with the digital controls for AC/Heat. When you push the button to change from Vent to floor to defrost etc...nothing changes. The image on the display changes, but the air only comes out the floor. Does anyone have a diagram for the door under the dash that changes this?

My herbs are doing awesome (sage is like a bush now), oregano came back to my surprise, Chives are in full bloom, etc. the rain has been great for my garden. Switched string gauge on my Hollow-Body and buzz sound is coming from upper neck?

I just bought an Epiphone WildKat Hollow-Body. I wasn't too sure of the gauge that was already put on, but it was smaller than a 10. I switched them because I prefer the 10 gauge DR and after I put them on, the upper neck started to make a buzzing sound when I played a fret. Mainly on the E and A. Could it be the Nut?
