How do I get rid of the smell of sulfur from my bracelet?

The bracelets are made of string (not sure if they are pure cotton). I can't really take the bracelets off because they're tired on until they break or fall off. I washed my face with a soap made from sulfur (to treat some acne and my psoraisis) and now my bracelet wont stop smelling like sulfur. I stopped washing my face with the soap, but the smell is still on them. What can I do?
