Don't judge me on my lack of knowledge on drugs!?

Okay so I was at my friends house and she was in the bathroom. She said her yearbook was in her desk so I opened her desk to look for it. As I found the yearbook and started reading it, there was a funky smell. I looked at her desk drawer to see what it was coming from. It looks as though when I was rummaging something had surfaced. It was a clear thin tube, that was had the circumference of a lipstick tube, but it was longer. Through the plastic tube I could see the greenish brown thing that kind of looked like asparagus. What is it??? Thanksss :) Oh and I have previously found lighters in her truck an desk, if that helps.
