I want to eat healthier foods?

OK. so you love fruits, and you love beans-and you love carrots and beets-and as long as you eat a better pasta such as whole grain or whole wheat pasta-you are on the way! Good to go! The closer you eat to nature-the better your health. FYI- breakfast must be the hardiest of all your meals-lunch is the second biggest-and according to your age, and health status-you do not require a 3rd meal. Only children and teenagers, the sick, pregnant and lactating women, and the elderly require 3 meals a day. I will give you an example of of a healthy diet: Breakfast: oatmeal and walnuts and raisins or dates, lots of fresh fruits, or scrambled tofu, and whole grain toast with peanut butter and an herbal tea or fruit juice or a fresh veggie juice; Lunch- vegetarian chili with a whole grain bread or cornbread, a sandwich with a lentil patty and tomatoes, sprouts, avocado, and a vegan hollandaise sauce, or a vegetarian burger or hot dog on a whole wheat roll with all the fixings! Dinner: something light like some fruit soup and cornbread, or a small salad, or hummus with pita chips, popcorn and a vegetable soup. Make sure that you drink plenty of water-we all need to drink our body's weight in ounces every day. Do not eat past 6pm because this only puts extra stress on the digestive system-when it really needs to rest all night long. I hope this helps-and have a healthy day!
