what are you worried about. hold your head up and greet the neighbours as equals. You are the only one who is hung up on your past . If the neighbour is spreading rumours about you; tell others she is jealous and hurt because you rejected her advances; considering you're a married woman and all. Let them talk and whisper behind your back ; hold you head proud that you are the talking point ; and these small minded people have little else to talk about in their petty lives than your past. Smile when you see them and give them a knowing wink . They will soon tire of their frivolous nonsense; and even if they don't draw power from the knowledge they are talking about you and not some other poor mis fortunate. good luck.
